    The Killers

    The Killers

Another one of my recent favourites - rather an obscure one and it does feature Ronald Reagan who is about as good an actor as John Wayne (not saying much).

Lee Marvin and Clu Gulagher do the hitman thing pretty well, and John Cassavetes is usually worthwhile. Surprisingly violent for an early 60's picture. Worth a look if you are interested - Criterion has a double disc set featuring that and the earlier 40's version with Burt Lancaster.
Batman: It's a low neighborhood, full of rumpots. They're used to curious sights, which they attribute to alcoholic delusions.

Robin: Gosh, drink is sure a filthy thing, isn't it? I'd rather be dead than unable to trust my own eyes!
