    Donnie Darko

Well, I really enjoyed that. Didn't understand it at all but really enjoyed it.

Would someone care to explain it to me?

Its complicated, but after you watch it a few times youll pick up more and more .
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothes. But the half-wit remains a half-wit, and the emperor remains an emperor.

I hear the directors cut actually confuses it even more.
Batman: It's a low neighborhood, full of rumpots. They're used to curious sights, which they attribute to alcoholic delusions.

Robin: Gosh, drink is sure a filthy thing, isn't it? I'd rather be dead than unable to trust my own eyes!
