Nice job with the video and other site! Thanks for posting.

It was great meeting and hanging out with you and Shawn. Will have to plan better next time. I ended up getting randomly chosen(checkerboard pattern SSSS) for the high-security search line when we got our boarding passes from the kiosk at the airport. That was an interesting experience. Off with shoes, belt, up with shirt, through all bags, then off you go to wait for your plane all ruffled up. And then our plane was delayed and we ended up getting back at 2a.m. Could have hung out longer, eh? Well worth it all though. Dark Carnival has a great selection of books and other cool items. Michael was in a good mood, and I got my copy of Mother London signed.

Here's a good place to say how much I enjoyed the California readings and signings and was the beneficiary of much, much generosity from MWM readers -- I made out like a bandit! I've always said I've been lucky in having a bunch of very generous, smart, good-hearted readers and this trip proved it. Great to see everyone. Let's do it again sometime.

I'm making plans to remedy that. It's beena long time since I did a signing in the UK. Next autumn's a likely time, although I'll be over before that. These things are usually tied to a new book publication and it will be a while before my new stuff starts appearing there again!
